Due
to the democratic decentralization process in Indonesia,
Civil society organization (CSO) has a big role in
facilitating democratic
process in community. CSO
as a facilitator in the community
is expected to be able to accommodate flow of
information and manage data in a more professional
approach to support the field activities and local
community. In fact, there are some fundamental problems
in using the information technology among CSOs such as
lack of internal policy within the organizations with
regard to ICT, limited of IT human resources, limited IT
proficiency among CSO, and limited resources to provide
equipment including the technology itself.
JARING Foundation
is established as intermediary organization who
has role to develop and increase the capacity of NGO
partners in the area of information
technology management and networking.

services provider to local NGO and increase the capacity
and capability of NGO staff in developing and managing
IT system for their NGO network. Beside, JARING
Foundation also provide IT total solution for
stakeholder that have problem with IT in their working
